    I like the pose and BG. Maybe a bit more sharpening? Is this a heavy crop? There is not much detail in the plumage. I'm wondering what other people think about it.

    It looks like the plumage lacks density?
    The branch splitting in the corner is a bit distracting to me. Good background and exposure.

    Exposure is great, as is the BG colours. I also think the bird could use another round of sharpening...

    What a cute bird. Love the markings and crest on this little fellow. Lovely pose and head angle, a beautiful bg, and perfect exposure. I think you did a very good job on composition in this image. You could not have eliminated the branch terminal without clipping the birds tail, and I think you included just enough...
    any more, and the bird would have been too centered. Does need another round of sharpening, but I like this image a lot.
