    This image has been laying around for a couple months. Camera raw into LR custom settings are all sliders 0, linear point curve.

    M111, 300f2.8+2xtc, ISO 400, 1/640, +2/3

    Nonda, This is pretty good for SOC.The image has a few tweaks but enough interest!

    Good action capture Nonda. You have details on the blacks, but am wondering about the whites? Nice and sharp and I like the catchlights in the eyes.

    There are more and more Geese returning north every day lol. Noisy and messy bunch they are hehe.Good capture Nonda :)

    Always like that bit of red inside the mouth on a Canada Goose image. I like the action and the setting. Overall colors are lovely and warm.
    This SOC assignment may be showing us something about the difference between a Mk3 and kin and a 40D and its kin.

    Might have waited for a slight different relationship with the bg? Do like the placement for the birds out of the middle frame !!! Excellent and not much work will be needed !!!

    Nonda - Yes I think I am seeing a difference in the image detail between the larger and/or full-sized sensor cameras and the others. As soon as I open your image, it pops right out with more vividness and more detail. It is a quality that I have noticed about your images and remarked upon before. Obviously the lens makes a big difference too.
