    Great pose, light and detail, the dark areas in the BG are not ideal IMHO, and I'd crop a little from bottom and left.
    Still, very nice, congratulations!

    I think a vertical would work well here Stuart. Like the wing pose and the colors are so intense. It does look strange with the black band in the BG, which is probably something not much could be done about and it tends to make me wonder back to it as it is quite dominant for my taste. Still, a big congrats from me too. :)

    Great pose and excellent techs!
    But, for my taste, the setting just doesn't do justice to the beautifully captured bird.

    Agree with above. I would also clone out the banding on each leg. Do others agree on removing the banding? I can't recall see very many, if any, birds with intact bands, and I assume they've been digitally removed.
