    Glen, this is a nice image - I particularly like the tension between the bird and perch and you - leaning to control posture but aware of your presence (seemingly). While I like the authenticity that comes from the imperfection in the tail feather separation, it distracts a bit from the beautiful mantle around the head. I personally struggle backgrounds that are so blurred to as feel like a sears photo studio - but that is one man's opinion. Oh, I also like the irregularity of the lichens which helps counter a bit of my background comment. I'd be happy to have this in my set.
