    Default The Flotilla

Two adult and two almost adult Black Swans, captures with Canon 30D with 300mm F4 L IS + 1.4X converter (420mm X 1.6 crop) 1/800 sec F/7.1, ISO 200, Pattern metering, shutter priority.

What concerned me was the position of the left foot of the rear Swan which remained as it is in the photo for at least three days, a deformity or injury?

I have no idea if that is normal behavior or injury. I like the similar head positions but would prefer if they would swim toward you.

Nice being able to have all head clear with no overlap Would have killed the image Having the last bird with the foot out of the water lessens the need for having them facing you (would be preferred) Would crop some from the bottom to have them larger in frame, get a better look at the food and stream line the image Accentuates forward motion Neat I like it a lot !!!!
