    Default Pied-billed Grebe

Was lucky to get some nice morning light this weekend and wanted to share this shot with you all.
It's great to see these guys back in breeding plumage.

    Exposure: 1/500
    Aperture: f/5.6
    Focal Length: 700 mm
    ISO Speed: 200
    Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV
    Flash: No Flash

    Thanks for looking

PS, Texas here we come! (well, come Friday anyways) : )

Lovely sharp close-up of this grebe. I would crop some off the bottom as I don't feel the reflection is that important. The blue color in the water while nice, seems to emphasize too much for me and I find concentrating on the grebe harder. Thanks for posting. :)

Lovely low angle Paul, and agree that more of a pano crop would work in this. Still, well captured.

Good angle, eye contact and details. I would crop a bit off top and bottom.

Nice details and pose, I love the water colors! Would only crop a sliver off the top to eliminate some of the blue above his head only.

Very nice profile in sweet water. The blue part on top could go cropped. Nice sharpness all aorund.
