    Stuart:

Your spoonie is sharp, very well exposed, with pretty good wing position, esp. his right wing, where the primaries are beautifully spread and displayed. In a perfect world, maybe a step or two to your left to get an even spread of the wings, so both show equally.

Composition wise, I might wish him to be cropped a bit on the right, to offset him a bit. The background is a bit distracting with the three bands. I don't know if you had any options to get higher or lower to alter the background. If time would have allowed, a couple of shots at f/4 to see how that would render the background would have been interesting as well.

    Thanks for sharing this one!

    Cheers

    Randy

Great sharpness and EXP. What was your - compensation? I am fine with the BKGRs? Was this on the Hooptie Deux?

Wish only that the bird's left wing were swept back.

Good exposure control and the dark bg looks fine to me. Nice capture.

    Stuart -

I have never seen one of these but I think this is what one would look like.:D

The subject is strong enough that the bg does not draw my eye from it. We can always hope for better but this one is fine on its own merits and you can be proud to have captured it.

    Good job IMO.

Pin sharp, and very well exposed. I would move him to right a bit, but still well captured Stuart.

I wish it was more in front of you than off to the side so the wing spread could be more even. Though nice as is, and well contrasted to the fore and backgrounds, that would have made a stronger image IMHO. :) Thanks for posting.
