' nother usually don't get this close. The water here (arboretum) is really strange looking when ever there is enough wind to make small waves, sort of a 'noisy' look to the colors. This water also use to send the camera over the edge (wonky) when it was windy??

What a sweet couple, Nonda! I like the water, good HA's, detail and composition. I'm still working on capturing these guys with details in the dark parts without blowing the whites.

500mm with 2xTC:D 800 would rock just not doable price wise...I wish! Least they didn't loft, or move to the middle of the main pond area. They were in this cove like area which is the only place that has some cover to sneak in and for once the Canada G were quiet.

    Thanks!

Well done Nonda, love how I can see both sexes. I would never have guessed. Go and get an 800! ;) It's an awesome bit of glass. :)

Akos I would LOVE the 800! AND hubby would probably get it for me gladly, but she who actually controls the finances is just too @#@%#@ logical:(

You seem to do just fine with your 300 2.8 and tc. Love the fact that you were able to capture both with great HA.
