    Default Long-Billed Thrasher

This Rio Grande specialty showed himself a few times during our stay in TX. This was early morning on the first day of our workshop with Alan.

Such a beautiful bird. So many images to go thru !

    Thanks for looking,
    Lou

Lou, The composition is lovely-nice HA and pose. He really shows well against the dark BG.

So you went this year again :)

Well done, dramatic BG and perfect head angle. Glad you had a good time!

Very nice image Lou. Nice details against the dark BG. The flowers add something extra to the perch as well.

Sharp with a great pose and head angle, and a perfect exposure with that dark BKGR. I would liked to have seen a bit more above the bird and a bit less of the perch. The set-up is not up to Alan's usual standards as the flowers are pretty mangy....

Nice pose, BG and a beautiful bird. I do agree the flowers look in tough shape.

    Hey Artie,

You're right too much perch. I have some room to re-work this.

    Thanks
    Lou

Great head angle, details and BG. I agree regarding the crop and would run NR on the BG. It would be great to see a repost.
