Simple and works for me !!! I like the clean bg a lot !!

Got one suggestion ... might consider a couple of things that will give you more dof I feel these images need to be sharp through out. Using less focal length, say taking the image at 100 would give you more dof and would also stop the lens down more!! Very fine image !!!

interesting composition. i like the simplicity myself.....for my tastes i may desaturate the bg just a tad.
