    Default Purple clouds.

I rather liked the cloud patterns created by the winds over the mountains this afternoon.
Have had a play with Elements variations and came up with this result.
    Reposts welcome.

Beautiful image, Ian. I'm probably going to move it to the other OOTB forum later because this one is really for the desaturated images and this is more of a WOW!

Only suggestion would be to check the noise level - might want to run a little noise reduction on it but be careful that it doesn't take the definition out of the clouds.

Ian, I think the color is fantastic and I would like to see some of the luminance brought up.

    Thanks Jules & Denise.
    Oops ! Wrong forum !!!
    Next time !!!.
Actually Jules I had several attempts at noise reduction with both Noise Ninja and Noiseware.
There is Noiseware reduction included in edit but hard to get get right balance.
Find this quite interesting as only 200 ISO and full frame image.
Think noise caused by minus 1 exposure.
Denise: I'll try a bit of levels adjustment to see if I can get more luminance.
    Cheers: Ian Mc

As a parting gesture to this forum thought I might show more natural colour of the same image.
