Nice and sharp Dan. Gotta be happy I say! Never mind the light. Can't always be perfect! :)

H Dan - gorgeous bird - looks like you just about got him in time (before he flew past you) I would crop the blue strip from the top of the shot- done well considering the harsh light :)

Looks good Dan Just the light and wish you could have made it a second sooner, might be just past you. It is a pretty pose and you nailed him very sharp !!!

Bg is very pleasing and I think even stronger without the blue stripe but its mainly taste !! Big Congrats !!

Dan, agree with harsh light but I too like the pose and habitat! Details look sharp, I don't mind the blue strip of sky.

It is an interesting pose. I would be tempted to quick mask in green for the blue, to keep the canvas size.

Good going Dan! Light wasn't the best but super in-flight pose and sharp

Agree on the blue strip at top

    Hey Dan,
Is the glass half full, or half empty???:D You captured him right at transition point, right in the middle...:)I like the composition, image and capture, you have sharp, fine details and the color renditon is very good...the blue band of sky does not bother me...it's just a matter of taste...you did well...congrats...I like it...
