One of my personal favorite flight shots , this full frame image was created when this Drake flew very close to me , I was fortunate just to get him in focus let alone in frame , Rebel XT w/ 200 F/2.8L , 1/1600 sec @ F/8.0 , ISO 400

Nice wing position and BG. I would prefer if the bird flew toward you and I would add some canvas left and right since it is too tight in the frame for my taste.

You demonstrate good reflexes. I agree that if it is within your philosophy some added canvas right and left would help.

I agree it is tight in the frame but I have never added canvas or cloned out objects , just a personal thing that I have , this is what I saw and this is what I present to you

You nailed this one Wayne!! You did very well to squeeze it in the frame. I agree with the need for extra canvas left and right to improve overall composition.
