This started out as a pansy. Did a kaleidoscope and page curl effect in PSP 10, and added a diffuse glow and B and W image underneath. (CS4)

Jackie, Looks like you are having fun with Paintshop! I love the colors and the page curl! The B&W image underneath is great! I might try to smudge or clone at low opacity the hard edges at the corners ,you could also use the liquid effect, just so that your only hard edge is the page being turned-Very creative and way OOTB!!!!

    PS-I love your new Avatar!

Jackie...Very creative and I like what you did on this very much. I really spent some time studying the image which meant I was getting into it. Nice job!

I'm with Dave...I stared at it for quite awhile. Lots going on and each layer got the attention it deserved. I had one other thought...what about converting the black and white section to be embossed so it had even more depth to it? You can find it in the filter gallery...

Smudged the edges (thanks Denise) and added an emboss filter to the B and W filter. Gradient to the corner and toned down the highlight on the page. Never tried the emboss, thanks Julie! Looks better I think!
