    Hi Michael I like how you got the bird in the middle of the reflection Might have zoomed out a little more to include the entire concentric circle Some fill flash would have giving a nice look to the bird, wouldn't mind seeing more of the face.

    btw not sure how well the camera was able to focus but with these I go to manual and focus at the beep !!!

    Michael:

    Alfred hit the 'highlights' :), but another option on a silhouette is to let the bird go completely or almost completely black, and play up the color in the water/sky. It is easy to do it both ways when doing the shooting, just experiment with exposure.

    It really depends on your vision of the image.
