    40D, 1-400L @ 100mm, f6.3, 1/400s, ISO 640, handheld, removed a few dark/bright spots from the BG, slight crop off left edge.

    Steve I love the pose and that fact that you caught his face and shoulder in the light. Nice habitat image here.

    I like this image. Nice work getting into position and I love the flowing grass around the fox.

    Hi Steve. This is one of the few images taken in mixed light that I like. You did well with the exposure control to keep the sunlit areas from blowing out while maintaining good detail in the shadows. Framing the fox in the little patch of sunlight really makes the image work. The fur sticking up on top of its head might be a bit oversharpened?? Well done.

    This is a great shot, Steve. I love the mixed light and the surrounding environment. Really adds a lot of depth.

    I like the comp and habitat. ALso, the light hitting the face is great. Gee, 100mm? You were close. Was it a tame fox or do you smell like one? ;) Thanks for posting.

    I was wearing a new cologne on this day called Midnight Over the Fox Den. Guess it worked.
