I often will look at an image, want to leave some thoughts on it, and come back later. What I want to be able to do is use a virtual stickie note which will pop up when the image is opened, but can then be turned off.
I have googled this a couple of different ways, no success. I am Mac powered. :)
Interesting idea Randy. I can see this being useful at times. I don't think there is a system in place to do this type of "flagging"...but here is an alternative that may (or may not) work for you:
1 - In your "User CP" go down the column at left to "Subscribed Threads" and click on "Edit Folders".
2 - From there you can create (add) a new folder, and name it whatever you want.
3 - Once that is done, whenever you read a thread that you want to come back to later to post your comment you can subscribe to that thread and place into your newly created folder form the drop-down menu. To subscribe just click on "Thread Tools" directly above the first post of a thread.
4 - To look at your subscribed threads click on "Quick Links" (in the menu next to the search box) and select "Subscribed Threads"
5 - Once you've gone back to a particular thread and commented on it you can then un-subscribe (delete)from it and it will be gone from your folder.
This sounds alot more complicated than it really is...once you're set up it's easy as can be :-)
Sorry Randy, I misunderstood your question. Hopefully some Mac expert will chime in. Hope you still like my idea though...I thought it was good when I devised it!!:o:D
Randy if you are using PS you can make notes right there. On CS4 look at the eyedropper tool .. its the last choice Just select and make your notes .. both Mac and Win.
