    Default Mono lake road

On the south side of Mono Lake "highway" driving around the gate which said road closed, we went to the eastern side of the lake and found this road. I liked it in IR. The lake is toned in blue, but it is so small in the photo that it might not show up on this sized image. It is just a near the bottom of the left pine tree.
Taken with a 15mm fish eye on an IR converted 20D.

Steve, If you didn't say anything about the lake I may have missed it-but this is lovely, I like the starburst and I even like the lens flare-The color is unique-nicely done.

I like this. Who did your conversion. I am thinking of this with an old camera body.

It's the sepia version of an IR image! Lovely stuff, Steve. Might try to selectively whiten a few small items to add a little more dimension to the image...otherwise, that sky is to DIE for! Beautiful tones and wonderful composition. It feels exactly right in the frame.

Thanks, the conversion was by Wet Pixel, if I remember correctly.
findable through google or someone might know the site.
I have not been able to get out much lately, but hope to find more time for photography.
    Best,
    sTeve
