    Photographed last month at Morro Strand State Beach in Morro Bay, CA.
    Can't imagine a better place for photographing this species on the shore.

    Great light, angle, details and BG, I like it a lot. If anything I might remove the green patch in the upper right.

    Stunning light, pin sharp, and I like the pastel colour in the BG. I like the low angle in this too. Congrats Mike.

    There's nothing to critique here, the comp, light, exposure, BG, colors, detail, pose and head angle are all simply superb IMO. COngratulations!

    Hi Mike!

    I totally agree, this is a very pretty image with all the right ingredients. This is a good example to study and memorize for reference. Love the soft colors.

    Love the soft light and bg, of course the bird looks really good too. Very Nice.
