    Hi James

    Big Warm Welcome !!!

We only post one at a time and every twenty four hours, you can edit and remove two to post at a later date.

Love the deer jumping over the fence Would take some from the left to keep it out of center frame and sure wish you had some extra room on the right. Great fell and one I would love to have in my files !!!

    Thanks everyone.

Here are the specs of the shot,

    ISO 400
    AV 5.6
    Shutter 1/1000
    shot in AV mode
Equip used is Canon 40D and canon 400 f/5.6

That is Fog in the picture as that morning in Cades Cove the fog was really bad and i was worried I couldn't get some good shots but actually I got some really great shots. I'm not real good with PP and I'm always looking for tips and pointers.

you guys are more than welcomed to take the photo and edit as you may see fit which gives me an idea of what I should be looking at doing.

Welcome James. Very nice stop-action in this buck jump. I also like how the fence trails off into the fog.

Way to stop the action. I also like the mist in the image as well.

Nice shot, reminds me of my white tail hunting days back home. Never got one, but always wanted to take the camera on a hunt. Of course going into the woods unarmed is not the smartest thing to do. ; > )

I agree the cropping would be best to add to the right side, so you don't loose anything in the area of the fence. Cropping left and taking from either the top of bottom to size the image would wreck the fence portion of the image, which is as much as the deer.

Fog is something I'm still trying to capture. Only have one real nice shot that worked so far. But that is what tomorrow is for.
