    This is an image from Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Maryland.

    Comments, critiques welcome. I know about the head angle already... :)

    Info: Nikon D300, with 200-400 mm lens with 1.7x multiplier = 650 mm, ISO 200, Manual mode, F 11, Speed 1/100, no flash

    I like the look-back pose and eye contact. I wish for a bit more head turn and would reduce the saturation and maybe contrast a few points. The whites on the back are borderline overexposed.

    Great colors and composition.
    Looks like it needs some CCW rotation (eye should line up with eye in reflection)

    I like the colours and lookback pose. A wider aperture may have blurred the BG and FG a little more - I would be tempted to crop a little from above to eliminate the green stalks.
