A pretty good milestone that I'm proud to have achieved on BPN: 3000 posts. I've learned alot here from many different contributors/members/moderators...and hopefully a few have learned a couple of tidbits from me in return. Thank you everyone for helping to make BPN THE internet's go-to place for bird/nature photography learning:cool:.
Here is my favorite songbird - the Blackburnian Warbler. A regular at my folks' cottage every year, with this image taken last summer. Needless too say I can't wait for this upcoming season - the climbing temperatures and melting snow are a good sign of things to come. Appropriately enough this guy is salivating at the prospect of posing again for me!:D Here's to another 3000...and more!
Another big congrats, on your milestone. I agree with Axel about your comments, I always look forward to seeing them.
This is a fine looking bird. I find the repetition of curves in the background very complimentary to the shape of the bird itself. Excellent exposure.
Lets see, I only have 2500 comments to go, more or less, and a bunch of hard work, and some luck to get to your level. Should be no problem, in 10-12 years or so. :):):)
Daniel, Congratulations on the milestone-I know your informative critiques have helped me and many others and I look forward to your feedback each time I post! Thankyou!! BTW, This is a lovely image of a songbird I have yet to see in person-vey nice pose w/ open mouth!!
Congrats Dan on 3,000, I got a long way to go....I would love to get a Blackburnian this close...the time is coming soon when I might get a chance. Paul
congrats on 3000 Dan, I appreciate your honest and insightful critique, but most of all I appreciate the time that we spend in the field together and your willingness to share your knowledge. Thank you my friend...
