    another male anhinga from the anhinga trail at everglades natl park sunday afternoon.

    D300, Bigma at 500mm, f/6.3, +0.3EV, 1/800s, ISO 800, flash fill no beamer at +2.0EV.

    i did some manipulation to this image. i dont want to say what. i want to see if it holds up to the critics.

    FAbulous image Harold. Is there a reason the back of the head is cropped so tight? I really like this. :)

    I like this portrait...the feel is over the top...well done Sir...I'm not going to mention the individual fine points of the image, because you reproduced them all, quite well...the feel of the image speaks for itself...proud of you...keep them coming...:):cool:

    ummm, yes. mistake on my part.:( this is a non cropped image. i cut off the back of the feathers without realizing it. i have more where they were not cut, but this is a better image in that in the others, the extra plumage did not show as well.

    Harold, I looked at this last nite and thought I had commented! I'm losing it!!But truth be told I have never been too sure I had it in the first place!! Anyway I love the pose and BG colors are fantastic-great details in the beak!! I might add a touch of canvas to the R. Well done!
