    Very colorful subject and nice job with exposure. Busy background kind of iffy for me in this image. I was just wondering how great it will be on a white snow backgroun.

    A beautiful and colorful pheasant, and you did well with a dificult exposure situation. The dark head merges with the dark part of the bg. I think a shadow/highlight adjustment improves both the separation of the head from the background and also reveals more detail in the dark part of the bg.

    Beautiful bird The image looks like a painting Would love seeing a little work on the dark head feathers for a bit of detail Excellent capture !!!!

    Nice find. I would try to apply some S/H to get more details in the shadows and tone down the whites that appear a bit overexposed.
