I took this image in Spring Lake NJ -I was taking duck shots when I noticed the flag reflection-I shot alot of different angles and I posted one of my other images of this flag several months ago-This image I never posted-but it was my favorite from the day.

Hi Denise...You caught the flag at a good moment and filled the frame nicely. To my eye, in this case I don't think the leaves help the image. Some are rather bright and the way I'm looking at it seems to move your eye all over the image. The light area on top(probably clouds) doesn't bother me since it seems to frame the flag....

Dave, Ya ,I wish the leaves weren't there but I was attracted to the way the flag looked like it was torn apart as if it had been thru the war! I may color the leaves in someday, maybe not-

I agrre about the leaves. The ripped flag is cool. Maybe tone the leaves down or clone out.

I also like the image of the flag. Nice spirit in this picture. I am undecided about the leaves but would be interesting to compare with and without. Very nice work and a good eye to capture the moment.
