Image captured at Lake Nakuru, Kenya. This was the only Anteater Chat that we saw during three safaris. Fortunately, it was a willing subject and posed for us for several minutes. Hope you like my image. C and C welcome, I'm here to learn. - John

We have exactly the same species here John, and they are pretty relaxed. Lovely feather detail, and like the light on the eye. I would maybe move him to the left a bit, but still a great image.

Good alert pose and clean BG. Only distraction for me is the bright cement perch. Trying a selection blended with linear burn may help darken it down a little.

Good tip by Tony to tone down the "perch", and I agree about placing the bird further left. Nice exposure and pose...wish the bill was a little cleaner, but sometimes you have to take what you can get :-)

Nice image John. :) Great pose. Not a fab perch, but it had to do. Good tips on toning down. Just crop a little from the left to off center the bird IMHO. :)

Great exposure with a lovely BG. The toned-down cement perch is better IMO.
    Well done

I like the pose and eye contact.
