    Ok here is another from me fooling around with my macro lens , center of a African Violet that my wife has growing here and there in our home :)

    D80 Sigma 105 EX
    F/8
    1.6 sec
    Iso 100
    105 mm no tubes

    I feel it is a tad oversharpened. However, the colors are so complementary and the comp is excellent. :)

    Hi Glenn Appealing and love those colors Could suggest using a higher ISO then stopping down more for dof I think it enhances these type images !! Do like it as presented !!1

    Hi Glenn - Love the purples and the yellow - also feels a tad over sharpened for my tastes - good job :)

    agree with the oversharpening comments. may crop a little off the bottom too? love the colors!

    Hi Glenn,
    I like the composition...a few points to consider...:) I recommend on cropping 1/4 from the bottom and it would present best by desaturating the yellows a tad...they are too saturated, and are missing the fine details...:cool:
