Spent many mornings photographing an eagle pair this season and was rewarded one morning with this landing. Now the eaglets have fledged, and it's time to photograph them in their novice attempts at flying. They are also posing together which will be quite a site if I am blessed enough to witness it.

    Mirina -

Good capture of this mighty bird.

Exposure a bit dark I think. I would suggest kicking the exposure on the bird (except for the head) up about 15% in shadows as shown here -

Excellent timing for the landing Grace, and superb show of the wings. The comp works well, and congrats on an outstanding image.

Great details and landing pose. I would apply some curves to get more details in the shadows and tone down the whites.

    Hi Marina,
This is absolutely superb without a doubt!!! Love the wingspread and it is so sharp! More and more people seem to be using that 400mm DO nowadays and are getting outstanding results. Wonderful image from all points. Well done! Cannot wait to see more. :)
