    These guys look so awkward. :) I like the details, composition and exposure control. Is this a native species there or is it really from Guinea?

    They're African natives, Axel (3 different species that I am aware of). The wild version of teh Helmeted have significantly different coloring and wattles from the 2 recently posted. Great calling pose, Ron. I might patch out the leaves in the LRC.

    So much texture!! It feels sculpted!! Big congrats on a fine image, lovely light, BG comp, pose, colors and detail.

    Holy crap, what an ugly mugshot! LOL. No, truly a magic portrait of a (not so) attractive birdie. I like it as is.
