    Here's another view from Steptoe Butte taken in the late afternoon. I tried to place the buildings in the upper left third and the plowed field in the lower right third. Your comments are welcome.

    Tom,

    I am liking the comp here a lot. You looked at the edges for protrusions and limited them and composed it nicely. I don't think including more at the bottom would have been better but I think including the dark green hill in the FG all the way along the bottom edge would have been good (look at LR corner). You have a few small protrusions (left edge near top and right edge near bottom) that can be cloned out.

    Hi Tom,
    You are getting some nice undulations and shadow play with these images. I'm debating the lighter band along the top of frame and removing it at least 2/3 of the way to the right......would further strengthen the comp IMO. Way to use the late light also.
