    Doctor Davis,
I like the composition, image and capture...the color rendition is very good the multi-colored background compliments your bird quite well. I like the sharp clear eye and the good head angle...one suggestion... Mr. Bird needs to brush his bill for good dental hygine...:D:p I would clone out the food off of the bill...aside from this, you got a winner...

Harold, Nice details and exposure, might get rid of the tiny tiny xtra catchlight in the eye-but that is minor. The BG is gorgeous!Sharp as a tack!!

Wonderful portrait Harold. Just super! Plenty of detail too. The bg is great. Not sure why the scruffy thing is on the bill, but I would remove it unless it would indicate a specific behavior and there was some evidence elsewhere in the frame of that behavior perhaps. Not sure if I make sense. :)

    Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mr H - well done - excellent details in the blacks, which is what is often missing with these type birds.
Like the pose and the inquisitive head angle.

Hi Harold, Nice portrait! i like how you have framed the bird leaning into the frame. The head tilt and eye contact add a lot of character to the image. I also find the background pleasing. Well done.
