This is my first post here, so I hope the image comes through. I fought between 800x600 pixels and 148KB rule. Not being computer literate, I may have made the wrong choice, but I went with the 800x600.... I need input on how to make it work both ways. That said,
The image is an early morning shot at Ding Darling NWR on Sanibel Island, Florida. As we live on the east coast, in Port Saint Lucie, it was a 3:00 AM get up to go day. It was a bad day for shooting except for the two pelicans along the shore of the first main pond on the left. They just kept performing for us and I shot until the lens got too heavy for me.
Camera was Canon 5D with 35-350mm L lens. The image was handheld, as my tripod gave out on me, the leg lock broke and kept slipping. :< (
We have only been to Ding Darling twice this year, as we have not had a really good day there since Charlie blew thru the area. But Merritt Island NWR made up for that.
