    I like the pose, light, details and behavior. It would have been even better if the juvenile were better visible.

    I like the composition of the photo. I have to say that it took a while to digest the shape of the wings (just above the head). At first I thought the wing was broken and did not see the juvenile because my eye was drawn to that area of the photo. I took a while for the big picture to become evident.

    Yes, Lowell, these are siblings and the wing is still forming. The feathers at this point have huge shafts with the actual feather coming off the end.

    Agree with Axel on the comment that it would have been nice to see more of the juvenile, is that a dust speck in the top right hand corner?

    Hi Art, Yes would have loved to see more of the sitting sibling. These are both juveniles and the spot is actually from the wing flap. There are others you can't see beacuse of compression, but they are actually a part of the action. As always, thanks to all for comments and learnings!
