    Default Male Anna's Hummingbird

This annual is blooming again, and the hummingbirds are back. Does anyone know what this plant is called?

Welcome to BPN, Peter! Very nice first post. I like the setting, iridescent plumage and natural light. Please post images that are not bigger than 1024 pixels wide and 800 high. Keep them coming!

Good job of capturing irredescent colors of this bird. Haven't a clue as to the plant species. I would have guessed some type of cactus but you indicated it was an annual. Ruby throats are the primary hummer in my little corner of the world.

Very nice first post indeed. It does appear the critical focus fell on the side/belly areas instead of the eye/head/ A little more sharpening in the eye and head area will improve it I think.

Wonderful colors and setting. You did really well. :)
