This was an image that I capture in Upstate New York of the Croton River Falls a few years back. The Croton River connects to the Hudson River a few miles down...I was slowing down the shutter speed to get this liquid candy effect, with the subtle reflections of the trees along the river bank...hope you like...

I recognize this one Gus and I still like it! Nice soft feel to the water and beautiful colours.

Gus, that really has to be one of your very best. The colors and the motion are breathtaking.

Hey Gus, This image has alot of impact! The colors are striking and rich. My personal preference is water that shows motion but has detail and the water presented meets both of my personal criteria. The image is divided almost in half on a diagonal, which in this case, due to the diagonal, is a strong division. I do wonder how the image would look if more was added to the water flow on the left which would taken the division out of the center. It would be interesting to compare the two and see which is stronger. Nicely handled!

    Dave stole my thunder.
I would love to have the diagonal of the fall more right in the frame. This would extend the strong diagonal line and allow for more of the silky water flowing left in the frame.
    Beautiful!!!
