    Found this beauty from the flickr archives of public domain images from the early 1900's from Australia.

    It appears this image was printed from a glass plate. Again, with the technology we have today, you have to be impressed as to how well these images hold up today using stone knives and bear skin technology ....

    It is beautiful Mike You keep finding them .... maybe a spoon from the early 1900.s :)

    Alfred, other than the Audubon spoonie plates, which are stunning, I'd really be curious to find out as to who has the earliest photographs of spoonbills out there....
