Snowy Owl - Staring and Pointing at You

Sorry I have been gone for so long! James Shadle just reminded to renew my BPN subscription when I then realized how much time has passed!

I was fascinated, and inspired last winter by Jody Melanson's beautiful Snowy flight images ... that I wanted to see if I could try it this season. This Snowy Owl image was taken last month while visiting Quebec, Canada.

Thank you for looking, and your suggestions are always appreciated.

Beautiful flight image and I love the wing position and that we are able to see both eyes heading towards us. Cool BG as well which leaves a bit to the imagination. Like this a lot and congratulations Brian.

Brian, This is beautiful-I love the wing position and HA. If it were mine I would give it more room but that's just my preference.-Very nice image Congratulations!!!

Excellent exposure, and love the eye contact in this. The nearer wing looks like he's trying to shield himself from the camera. Congrats on a great image Brian.
