    The birds are starting to come around now that weather is slightly improving. This card, though a bit wary of me, rested in a tree outside my house

    1/1000, f7.1, iso 100, 300 mm. hand held

    These are such beautiful birds and you captured a very nice catchlight in the eye. If it was possible to wait for it to come out in the open it would make for a stronger image but I know that is not always possible. The branches are definitely a distraction as they cover up his beauty. Look forward to seeing more Hazel and many thanks for sharing.

    The branches and resulting shadows are distracting, and may have thrown focus off - The bird seems soft but the larger branch behind it looks sharper, maybe my eyes though. I may brighten the image as it appears underexposed
