    Default No Worse for Wear...

As I was waiting on activity at the higher GBH nest this parent, with newly fledged chicks, seemed to be enjoying the respite. Still sporting mating plumage, the now faded lores and worn bill show this beauty as no worse for the wear. Cropped from vertical due to messy branches below.

Lovely lighting and great eye contact in this image David. I would be tempted to leave a little more canvas on the left . Good detail and exposure. Many thanks for sharing.

I like the head angle, light and details. I might give it a bit more room on the right and increase contrast a few points.

    David:

    Lovely colors, sharp, nice exposure.

I actually think that it needs a bit of room on both sides. If you add just to the left, which was my first impression, I think it would be too centered for my taste. So just combine Axel's and Judy's suggestions, and you have it!

All suggested changes; a little more contrast and room on both sides. Thanks for the comments and learnings!
