Glad you're feeling better Judy! There's a color cast on my monitor. Here's a repost with +17 on the yellow/blue slider and -7 on the magenta/green slider. I adjusted the white point slightly. And I also applied a bit more sharpening.

Thanks Doug. When I posted this image it was the first one from Photoshop CS4 and I found the color to be slightly different than in CS3 and some of the plug=ins do not work so it will take me a bit to get it up and running the way I would like. Thanks for taking the time to rework it.

Hi Judy -
Nice capture of a fun bird to shoot. Well done for the lighting conditions and it looks as if the sun may have been pretty high in the sky.

Doug had a good point on the color cast and did a good correction too.
As far as sharpening goes on this image because of the highlights at the head and front of wings you has a plenty on the light pixel side. IMO the sharpening Doug added also added some more undesirable artifacts and that is especially apparent at the edges of the dark feathers. That sharpening added may have helped the eye but possibly it should have been added selectively if it was a desire to enhance the eye.

Nicely captured Judy Lynn. Good wing position and a purdy birdy. Can't go wrong with an osprey in my book. :-)
