    Nice landing pose, I would have preferred slightly less blurred wings, maybe by going to ISO 400 and f/8.

    You did a fine job capturing this action, but there are a few things that I would do differently. The noise characteristics of the 40D are such that you could easily shoot at ISO 400 without a problem. I'm in agreement with Axel about the wings, and shooting ISO 400 would have given a little more speed. Also, I would have made this image with a larger aperture, probably around f/6.3. Enough depth of field to have you covered for a slight head turn, but shallow enough to blur out the background a bit. The background takes away a lot of impact for this image, in my opinion.
