    Default Turkey's in The Snow

They were everywhere, Gobbler's , about 18 of them. I ran out on the back porch and captured this image of a group of them heading for the woods. The snow was very deep. I played around in Photoshop to make the image look like a drawing or painting.
    Enjoy, Janet

Janet, Real nice to have that many wild Turkeys at your backdoor! I like the effect you added -almost has an etched painting feel-Wish the 2 birds on the right were a bit more separated-but I'm certain that would have been impossible-these guys aren't that cooperative! But it does have an interesting look and you managed a very uniform pattern-Well done! I look forward to more. Please try to remember what you did and post it so we can all learn something new!!:)

Janet, what a neat effect. I keep looking at it trying to figure out exactly how you did it. It really does have a painted feel to it but it also has a metallic edge - so cool.

Now, in a perfect world, you would have got them coming instead of going but, hey, the world hasn't been perfect for quite awhile so...I think you got the next best thing. Great detail - love the way you can see them kicking up the snow as they walk. What a hoot!

Excellent comp and the effect has an animated feel to it. How did you do it?

    Default I used Photoshop Lightroom

    HI, All,

    I used Photoshop Lightroom,
First I set the Clarity slider to +33
    Vibrance +25
    Sharpening +100
    Detail +50

I just kept bumping up the sharpening and detail sliders until I got the look I wanted
The image is very over sharpened, but It started to take on a drawing effect the more I sharpened it.
I set the edge mask to around +50.

Thanks for all the comments, Janet
