Great light, HA, yawn, and I love those streaks in the head plumage. Super portrait Fabs. :)

Pin, pin sharp, against an amazing coloured BG. I feel the OOF wing doesnt add to the image, and I would maybe crop it out Fabs.

Nice! Quite an irrational exuberance I would say...:)

Terrific! Great moment captured Fabs! I love it, I would try croping from the bottom to eliminate the OOF wing as I find it s little bit distracting, still, great, GREAT shot, BG, light, pose, detail, exposure, all is great IMO. COngratulaitons!
I hope you don't mind, I took the liberty to retouch the shot and remove the wing :)

Thanks, Ramon, Someone else had the same idea, but I think the wing connect the head to the missing body.
    Of course, all subjective :)

    Thanks, everyone!

The moment was fleeting and you captured it so perfectly!! I can't get enough of the open beak and all the details from the flap of skin below the mouth to the breeding plumage on the head. Excellent job.
