Hi Jeff - Denise - Ill second that motion - well done. Like the sharp eye with the iris clearly visible. Good Job.

Nicely done! If you're interested, I've found that carving or using pre-existing holes in the sides of things I am using for perches in the backyard, and filling it with suet is working very well for both attracting birds to a specific perch and getting the food out of the shot. It takes a few days for them to notice even when I have a seed tray nearby, but once found they keep coming back even when the suet is gone.

Nice image! I like the pose and the details of the head are good. I also like the background. I would attempt to tone down the branch/perch.

    Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jeff doing well I like it a lot !!!

Agree with Phil on the perch, could tone down a bit and can try something on the bg. Does look good as presented but can improve further. Same as you would do for sharpening ... make layer sharpen, mask and erase the parts you don't want sharp ... well in this case use Gaussian blur but erase the effect on the bird/perch. Gives the bg a dreamy appearance and in cases you have some noise does help eradicate. I like it alot !!!!

Nice picture Jeff, tried a S/H to bring out more detail in the blacks. The colours have changed too because I am working on a copy not the original. Like your colours better. Very sharp with a lovely BG.

I agree, the perch looks too bright/shinny. Any advise on how to tone it down.
