Where you in AV mode?
The flash makes this a special image. The background color is very complementary, your subject is sharp and well exposed.
I even like the placement in the middle of the frame. More room in front would also work, however this works for me.

Very nice sky Sid. The flight pose is graceful and if anything, perhaps a touch more room in front would be fab!
Great use of flash to get the iridescence af the sun was in. They seem to fly when there's no light :(

Quite spectacular. Love the EXP on the bird, the head angle, the sky, and the wing positions. The eye could use a bit of work.
