It was a gorgeous calm morning, still water and these guys are so beautiful in their breeding colors. Thank you for looking and C&C is encouraged and always appreciated.

Well Katie, I'm pea green with envy, lovely duck. Never have seen one so can't say if the red is a bit hot?

    Hi Katie,
I like the com[position and capture, you have a good head angle and sharp, clear eye contact...the details are nice and sharp, and you color rendition on the duck is good...would recommend on opening up the mid-tones in the head area just a tad...good show...

Nonda, thanks for the comment because I was wondering about the saturation level...it's time to recalibrate my monitor.

Hi Katie - Gus has nailed the techs - nice duck - not sure about the reds never having seen one :) Nice job.

Does it need some rotation or is it just me??

Hi Katie Remember most digital cameras do a number on the reds so I would back just a tad to be on the safe side.

These guys depend on perfect light angle to light up the feathers and you nailed it !!! Gorgeous looking duck !!! btw do like suggestion by Gus With a tiny little difference in angle from body to head you can have some darker areas !!! Big Congrats !!!

Lovely light, nice and sharp. Beutiful colours on your duck Katie. Didn't know you had the 500. Lucky you!
