Default Immature Tawny Eagle with Kill

Image captured in the Masi Mara Triangle. This young Tawny Eagle was just finishing off a very small antelope kill. You can see that all that remains are the legs and hooves, but he was still very wary that we would take his kill. I tried to get as close to his eye level as possible, but the side window of the Land Rover was the best I could do. This is a slide scan, so no detailed exposure data is available. Hope you like my image. C and C welcome, I'm here to learn. - John

I like the angle and captured moment. The bird looks a bit soft on my monitor.

Much better. These are magnificent birds, and what a great sighting John. I like the low angle too. Well captured.
