We saw 5 different tigers on our visit to Bandhavgarh Tiger Refuge two weeks ago.
Captured this one with the Mark III and a 400 DO + 1.4TC.\
ISO 1000, f6.3, 1/320 from jeep with beanbag.

Definitely would like to see this image at the posting limit Susan.

Well placed in the frame and the habitat accentuates the tiger well. Debating if a bit more room at the bottom was not called for (virtual legs) though I can see that part of the image getting very OOF which may have been more distracting.

What a great sighting, and I agree with Robert to have a left a bit more space at the bottom. By adding to the bottom, I would have maybe taken a bit off the top.

What a find Susan! You must have been in a fun coma. I think Robert and Stuart are on to something as to the room thing. All in all a nice habitat image was made here. Sounds like you had a once in a life time experience.

Lots more room in the frame to play with.

    Susan,
Good to know that you had a nice experience with tigers. The f6.3 aperture gives a nice feel to the grasses. Did you use AF?

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
