This little guy was busy, making sure that he looked his best for the ladies down the trail, at Anhinga Trail in Florida’s Everglades National Park. He was painted with a Nikon D70s, using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4D - IF-ED , with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

Hi Gus - I am jealous you can get so close to these guys - really like the composition, sharp eye good head angle - Nice job in my books. :)
Some might say a bit more seperation between the bill and the wing - doesn't bother me.
I second Lance's comment on jealous. Though I managed to get close to a wild Aussie Anhinga (melanogaster) recently (we call them Darter or Snakebird), it was not in this type of wonderful setting.
