    I would say you nailed it. The head is super sharp and the blur of the wing and BG is superb.

    A beauty, nice on all the technicals. Not an easy shot at 800mm!


    The only thing I might try is to lighten the eye just a smidge.

    Wow, agree with above,
    sharp head vs. blurred wings, nice.
    The contrast of the bird color
    with the BG is superb.

    Gorgeous ... can't stop staring at this one!

    Love the way the blur is almost all in the wings and the contrasting bg puts it
    way over the top for me!

    some how I missed this image. Very wise selection of shutter speed. Just enough blur to make a wonderful image.
